Why Christian Romance?
What do you say to those who believe Romance Novels are inappropriate for the Christian market?
God Himself was the first romance writer, after all He inspired…The Song of Solomon!

Can the genre of Christian Romance entertain and be a useful ministry that honors God?
Absolutely!  The Christian Romance does not lead people away from Godly behavior.  Instead, woven within the adventure and excitement, are realistic examples of people living out life’s struggles – some with and some without God to guide them.  These novels paint word pictures and provide role models, showing the importance and advantages of walking closely with God.   Every chapter throughout the Colorado Trilogy begins with a verse from God’s word that is relevant to the story line.
Also, included at the end of each book are Discussion Points, very helpful for Book Clubs or Study Groups!

What are the specific struggles and hardships that challenge your protagonists?
Each book in the trilogy deals with a specific theme and each book shows how God can sustain us through the most difficult of times.
In Giant in the Valley the characters deal with loss and rejection.
In Wings on the Mountain the characters suffer from abuse of all kinds.
In Tracks of the Wind we see forgiveness and the glorious reality of answered prayer!

What do you hope readers will come away with after spending their time with the books in this Trilogy?
My first goal is that readers, will enjoy the ride!  That they will consider it time well spent, and will have worried and sighed, laughed and cried along the way.   Beyond that, my sincere prayer is that they will be encouraged and comforted.   It’s so easy to think we are alone when we suffer from rejection, loss, abuse or cruelty.   Unfortunately these challenges are all too common.   And yet…I believe it can be helpful to see others going through the same hardships that we face.  Especially so, when we can also watch these same people lean on God and see how He can see them through the most tragic, even horrific experiences.   It’s good to be reminded that God promises to walk with us through the darkest of times and usher us into His perfect light!

I would love to hear what my readers think!
